Yesterday we had a successful mini-workshop on the Icarus Technique at the San Diego Chapter meeting of the Colored Pencil Society. Participants had a great time following along my step-by-step video clips on the fourteen Icarus Drawing Boards available for the workshop.

The Colored Pencil Society has released the names of the 2009 Silent Auction top bids. I'm thrilled that my piece "Midnight Journey" is among them. The five artworks are shown in the photo below.
