Information on Giclees

Limited Edition Giclee Printing is the standard for fine art reproduction. Giclee prints are superior to the traditional lithography technique in many ways. The colors are brighter, the resolution is higher, details are crisper and the prints last longer.

Original size editions are generally limited to 250 reproductions. Only selected paintings are available as giclees.

Paper giclees are printed on Milano artist watercolor paper 300 gsm., 50/50 cotton/alpha cellulose paper. Watercolor cold pressed textured surface. Acid-free coating and acid-free base. Archival ink. They are shipped rolled-up inside a shipping tube. They require framing. 

Unstretched Canvas giclees are printed with archival ink on archival UV coated canvas and individually proofed, numbered and signed by the artist. Dimensions shown represent the printed image size. They are shipped rolled-up inside a shipping tube. They require stretching.

All giclees come with a "Certificate of Authenticity".

Please note that the colors may not be exactly what you see on your computer monitor as colors vary from monitor to monitor. Our printer calibrates his system to ensure the best possible color match to the original painting.
 

Shipping Charges

Flat rate shipping charge for your entire order. Multiple paper or canvas giclees will be shipped inside the same tube. Cradled board giclees and stretched canvas giclees will be shipped in a separate box.
